He writes one of the greatest blogs on Scobleizer.Com . He really knows how to build readership – not only does he genuinely understands technology, he developed a business around podcasting, and he also is not afraid to post about his personal life. I am not just talking about his considerable posse, which includes his wife (Maryam is a popular blogger in her own right), but he is willing to publicize the geek wedding of the decade for his friend, PirilloWedding . You may not know Chris Pirillo – he also writes a blog (lockergnome), and is so popular that has offers to sponsor his wedding! But why am I writing about this? One word: exposure – not for my blog, but to undertake the meme challenge that Scoble puts out for ‘pirilloweddingâ€Â? (sort of like “nigritude ultramarineâ€Â?). OpenDomain is about recognizing the value of domains, but also about how people link to web pages. Not for search engine optimization (SEO) per se, but for better search results.
