The trick is to keep the telemarketer on the phone as long as possible, while you are NOT on the phone. A good one you won't keep very long, but my record is 25 Mins, while was on the phone less than 15 seconds. It's played by getting a call, and say breathlessly, "OH yes, I'm interested, but hang on a min., I have someone at the door". Lay down the phone. Every 30-60 seconds, pick up the phone and make some excess, Just one more mim, I'll get my wife, oh bleep door again, and so on. Just talk, never give the marketer a chance to respond before laying down the phone. Cris, you may be having fun playing the telemarketer game your way, but try the way I’ve played for years.
