The Taste of Perspiration and Sweet Victory

Last year, I made a video of myself taste testing the Pea flavored drink from Jones’ Soda. This year, I picked up their new holiday pack to try with the camera rolling.
Jones Soda has brought out their Seahawks Collector Pack. If you think you’re tough enough to play in the NFL, then you’d better step up and have a little taste of what NFL players experience throughout their entire careers. Jones Soda created this Limited Edition Seahawks Collector Pack as a tribute to the Seattle Seahawks and a little taste of what it’s like to be in the NFL. If you can get through it all, only then can you taste SWEET VICTORY. Here are the five flavors, and my interpretation of what they are like:
- Dirt It smells like band aids. It’s very mild, with a slightly bitter taste. The after taste isn’t so hot.
- Sports Cream The smell is minty, and it’s extremely fizzy. The taste is sweeter than last years’ Antacid flavor, but very similar.
- Natural Field TurfIt smells icky. The taste is bitter, VERY bitter.
- Perspiration oh God. UGH! It smells like three day old underwear! Holy hell this is awful! I cannot begin to explain to you just how bad the smell is. I don’t want to play this game anymore. Maybe Ponzi will come smell it. No, she refuses. Smart woman. Reminds me why I married her. Sniff it again… GOD. This is REALLY bad. Ok ok ok. Drinking it… IMMEDIATELY guzzle mass quantities of Club Soda as soon as I taste this soda. This is horrid. It’s very tart, and just really gross.
- Sweet Victory This HAS to be good. It smells like cotton candy! Ahhhhh it tastes like cotton candy. Actually… it tastes BETTER than cotton candy! This stuff is excellent!
