The Real Star Wars

Star Wars will never be the same again – until Lucas releases the Star Wars Ultra Special Edition DVD pack in a couple of years, complete with reworked footage of Yoda, wherein he replaces the entire character with a Twinkie. Yep, you heard it here first, folks – good ol' George is making our favorite Jedi a hydrogenated snack cake from outer space. We found the Star Wars DVD set at Best Buy for $52 (not including tax). Instead of caving to impulse, I decided to do a price comparison when I got home. Glad I did – Star Wars Trilogy (DVD Widescreen Edition) is only $42 on Amazon.

Hey Chris, did you get the game that also came out today? Gets you dizzy, and wanting for more!

oh, that last post was me mark. sorry, forgot my username to log in.

Buy or Buy not. There is no shopping.

Not sure what shipping and taxes through Amazon.com are, but Target's got it on sale for $45 this week. Get a Target Visa card and save 10%.

The price at the local Best Buy was $52 here, Chris, but actually they were charging $42 at the register :)

If you want to wait a week, amazon doesn't charge shipping, you can opt to pay for shipping and get it quicker. Also I believe amazon charges what ever you state tax is.

Fry's man, 36$ +tax!!

I was totally bummed when I heard Boba Fett's new voice in Empire and the final scene with the three ghosts on Jedi, watch out for them…
I got mine at Best buy for 42 also, sale price the first week, always.

Walmart — $39.36 , Sams Club — $ same
CompUSA — $39.99
Hollywood Video –$49.99 (and pretty much anyone else)
