The Political Machine

Am I the only one looking forward to tonight's Daily Show? If you haven't already seen the fire, Jon Stewart did what so many others have only dreamed about doing. I've never had so many “He didn't just say that, did he?” moments. Allegedly, Jon's audience shrank a little when he came out to publicly support a candidate, but… my guess is that his numbers will shoot through the roof after folks catch his (first and last) Crossfire appearance. You can't write funnier material – unless, of course, you write for The Daily Show. I'm one of those Americans who gets his news from Jon Stewart, and I'm not afraid to admit it. I like to laugh… so sue me.

I wish that I could pay for only that one segment of TV. I had satellite but I was paying 45.00 a month for about 2 hours of actual watching time.
Maybe someone could post a torrent file of some of the show?

Jon Stewart is keeping it real while the guys at Fox and CNN can only dream of TV such as the J.S. appearance on Crossfire.
I'm with you Chris; The Daily Show is great news, great information, great laughs, and the truth best told!

Too bad Stewart is wasting his breath. Bush will win this election and the USA will be a better place.

“Regular” news is not only depressing, it's predictable. The Daily Show succeeds in pointing out the absurdities of the modern world (often spotting material that isn't even touched upon by the mainstream media) and making it palatable. Sure, Jon Stewart may call it “fake news,” but it usually rings more true than what the “serious” channels try to feed us.
I wish he could have been in the debates! Jon Stewart for president! Nah, he's too smart to take on that kind of a thankless task. Then again, you'd think Bush would be happy enough to just hand the White House keys over to Kerry, considering he likes to vacation so much and probably doesn't really dig his job.
As he likes to say, “it's hard work.” I think voting him out of office this election will be doing everyone a favor — especially Bush! Come on, November. We've been waiting four years too long.

“Bush will win this election and the USA will be a better place.”
…for me to poop on!
