The Office Buzz

Nice. Word travels quickly around here. I just found out that 67% of TechTV employees have their eye on this blog! I wonder how many other TechTVers have blogs – other than Leo, natch. Regardless, it's my duty turn to dish up some truly juicy insider information. For instance, did you know that the elevator in our building goes all the way up to the 6th floor? It's true. Oh, and each one of us has our own separate mail bin. Common knowledge, right? Wrong. But that's why I'm here. To inform, entertain, and generally annoy the hell out of everybody else. Come down off the ledge, folks.

Today, we're bringing in kids who programmed LEGO robots to save people from Arctic isolation, showing people how to make 360 degree panoramic images with any kind of digital camera, and we're fine tuning Windows XP's speech settings. You won't want to miss this one. I have it on good authority that I'll toss to Ali at least once or twice during the course of the show. No promises, but… I'll do my best.

Remember those wacky teases I used to do twenty minutes before the show started? Yeah, well – they might be coming back! Guess we better crank up the creativity, eh? I'm usually fine as long as someone else tells me what to wear. Today, I'm in a short-sleeve green t-shirt – and I don't have a matching overshit. C'est la vie. I might put on my dark green fleece before the show starts, depending on how hot I get. I've been waiting darn near 28 years to get hotter – and it hasn't happened yet. I hate genetics. Perhaps I have a chemical imbalance or something. I should probably go see a doctor about it when I've got the time. Guitar! Make it talk. Now make it shut up.
