Most of it in the US comes from oil or natural gas fired power plants. How much is charging one of these going to drive up your electric bill? It sounds like this will suck energy worse then running your a/c, as it will be a contineous 6-hour draw of current. Where is the benifit? You have emissions from the generating plant or emissions from your vehicle. Uh, where do you think electricity comes from? Most of it in the US comes from oil or natural gas fired power plants.
