It's just that A. there already are the Bloggies. B. “selected board of judges” usually means a group of friends or celebrities that have zero qualifications to judge a website. In that regard it will be EXACTLY like the Webby's except without the antichrist Tiffany Shlain, horrible hosts all the other atrocities that surround the webbys. And C. it's monthly so it's just an excuse to give out little graphics for people's sites ala 1997. So even if Wil does beat you again Robyn there are 11 more chances a year to sneak in and get a little retribution. I just thought I should elaborate on my first post before the flames rolled in.

Thor, quit being stupid. It's just a little monthly thing we set up for fun. And yes, judges are my friends, but they have been in the blogging game long enough to be good judges. Why would there be a professional panel of judges for such a little site? I was not aware that there was “The Bloggies”. But that's annual and most people think a year is too long to wait. No offense to Wil. Sorry we don't have any money to give away, it's just for fun ya know. If you don't like Bloggys, don't participate.

Robyn didn't win (but Wil won all over the place.) Meanwhile, since I didn't make the Bloggies (just missed it by a hair I found out later from Nikolai), I was crazy enough to sponsor a prize just for the publicity! Yeah, I just wanted to get my name on the page - I am a “Blogwhore” after all!
