The Best Podcasting Client for Windows?
I think I’ve found it!
Denounce is the progression of a blog reader. It focuses on discovery and exploration. Listening and reading do not require a subscription. Though still at a conceptual stage, Denounce encourages people to experience podcasts and blogs without the trappings of a standard web browser or RSS reader. A number of features are missing in this prototype (alternate subscription views, playback options, preferences, etc.), but the general experience is clear. The goal? Provide a fun and intuitive way to enjoy what matters.
Chaps my hide a bit that our show is on the third page, but I’m happy it’s there in the first place. It’s not likely to topple iTunes anytime soon, but Denounce is immediately my top choice for a podcast manager for the Windows desktop.
GoDaddy Web hosting plans are now more powerful than ever. Best of all, their plans start at just $3.95/month! No matter what plan you choose, your site receives 24/7 maintenance and protection in a world-class data center. Plus, as a listener of The Chris Pirillo Show, enter code CHRIS2 when you check out, and save an additional $5 off any order of $30 or more. Get your piece of the internet at GoDaddy!

Well, until another client offers me the following:
1: Auto-delete of played podcasts, togglable by podcast (so certain ones don’t get deleted)
2: Smart Playlists
Then, I’ll be stuck with iTunes… I’d love to switch, but haven’t found anything that offers those two features yet.

Doesn’t work if downloaded with Firefox. WTH? Says right on the webpage “Without the trappings of a standard browser” yet it *requires* that you launch it from the link in IE…
