The 6.2mp with 12x optical zoom and 4x digital with image stabiliser. It has so many really cleaver features and the resolution is better than the naked eye. The only feature I think should be added is a thumb catch at the bottom of the LCD monitor, so that opening up the viewer is easier. I used an old transistor with the legs cut off and some super glue to fix it. I have just purchased the Canon S3is and all I can say is FANTASTIC . Incidentally, you can get this camera this week at Circuit City with 0% interest through Nov. 2006 (another plus!!) You talked me into it! ;)
