The way his hands were shaking, I almost want to say “Why wasn't he being more careful?” I dunno if it was being on live TV or not but you can tell he's very excited/nervous. And it shatters in his hands, not when it hits the ground, so I feel like he's only got himself to blame. Poor guy. I hope it wasn't the First Vinyl Cylinder Recording on loan from the Smithsonian or anything. Does anyone have more info about the object?

That clip is being passed all around NEC now. I really feel bad for the guy, although he's far more famous now than he ever would have been before.
