We did it! Congratulations to everyone in the community! We have officially hit 50,000 subscribers on YouTube!! Thank you so much for following what we do. I know we may not always see eye-to-eye, but it’s still great to have that interaction.
I accept all video responses that come in, and try to answer any questions submitted via video as I can. It’s so great to have people using that medium to ask their questions. Recording a video question is good, because it allows you to explain yourself better than if you simply typed out an email to me. I’ve recorded my own responses to videos, as well.
I hope that over the course of the next 50,000 subscribers that the community will become more tight-knit. I do want to point out one thing that many of you may not realize: we now have more subscribers than Oprah! She is richer than God… but I have more YouTube subscribers! She could stomp me like a bug, I know. But still… how cool is that?
I don’t see YouTube disappearing, and I know it will continue to grow. I want to thank everyone at YouTube for making this possible, and of course I need to thank all of you – the community! None of this would have been possible without each and every one of you.
