Tetrisized

Nobody can beat my mad Tetris skillz; I dare you to take me on, punk. This evening, I conquered the classic game in marathon mode (level 15). I purchased a second cartridge just so that I could challenge Gretchen head-to-head, and even she's finding it extremely difficult to defeat me. Maybe we Bay Area Bloggers will get together and have a tournament soon? Better yet, bring your GBA to Gnomedex and I'll personally kick your block-droppin' ass in July. I love playing puzzle games, and I figured it's been a while since I picked a fight. What's the matter? Is your mommy too scared to let you come to Iowa? Waaaaaaah…

“block-droppin' ***”? That sounds pretty serious. You're on.

i love tetris, unfortunately i am no longer good at it. hehe
another puzzle game that i loved was something called Boxxer for the original gameboy…you were stuck in a room and you had to push boxes around to get to the next room, which you were also stuck in. oi vei

just went to google and that game is called “boxxle”

I lost an entire year of my life to Tetris back in high school…

Tetris? It has been a while since I've played any Tetris variant. I like Mr. Driller. It's a little more action oriented than puzzle. Another cool puzzle game is Bust a Move (aka Puzzle Bobble in Japan).

Yeah, but can you do it without the performance enhancing drugs (e.g. Peets)? :)

yeah yeah yeah. dare ya to say that to Woz. :P

Tetris has more replay value than ANY other game!!

except boxxle!

If you want to play against the best, you'd have to play me then. I've checked around on the net, and using the original NES Tetris game, I'm among the best in the world. Need proof? Check the pic out on this link: http://www.milkbreak.com/weblog/index.php?id=P4
And, that was a bad game. So, if you'll pay my way up to Iowa, I'll show you some serious Tetris playing.

I accept the challenge. In July we shall batttle. No one beats me at tetris…

Iowa dirvers scare me. The main attraction in Iowa is your hotel's indoor swimming pool. Big deal.

Chris, meh 0wn j00! Bring it! Come on down to GA because I'm to young to drive :P

How about some Dr. Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine (Sega)?

Bet my mom can beat you in tetris, but we are here in Manila, Philippines :)

I had my GBA at Gnomedex II, and I'm definitely bringing it to G3 now :)

I think somebody needs to get out more often.

Tetris is sooooo 1990s.
*snore*
Do yourself a favor: Go to your favorite place to buy a game and pick up Super Puzzle Fighter Turbo II for Gameboy Advance. Better than Tetris, 'cause it's a puzzle game and a fighting game with the coolest japanese speak you'll ever hear!

“Is your mommy too scared to let you come to Iowa?” Actually… Yeah. She's a little over protective even though I'm 18. You best count yourself lucky, punk. :P

So you think you're good? Hah! I played the MS Win version of Tetris so much that I got the max score of 65536 (or something) at which point the score started to go backwards until it got to negative 65536!

tetrinet. team tetris. mayhem guaranteed.

You dont know me, but I will accept your challenge. I shall bring my gba sp. I have been practicing all schoolyear for an event like this

Wow, Tetris. I haven't played that in so long. However, I just may bring my NES with me and some select games to compete with people who think they are worthy… which of course will be a very small number because I am l337.

Can I beat your *** on a gb sp? that's what I'm currently packing.

What Do You Think?
