This is NOT supposed to be a substitution for screen sharing software. This (wonderful) software solves a very important and annoying problem.I have multiple computers on my desk - my desktop machine(2 displays), a 'monitoring' machine for babysitting our website(1 display), etc and my MacBook Pro. The monitor machine has a display connected, so I can keep an eye on things, but without Teleport I would have to keep an extra mouse & keyboard to control it, OR screen share to it so I can see its screen on my other screens while I control it.With Teleport I just mouse over to the far right of my display and 'poof' I'm on the other computer. Teleport takes the multi-display, extended desktop idea and extends it to other computers.

You guys are missing the point. All my computers are set up on my LAN to the internet. And i constantly file share between them. If its playing pranks on my sister or sharing freeware with her. To even fixing her computer problems without leaving my basement lol. As soon as i started this video i already had the program downloading and installing. This makes file sharing and screen sharing so much easier. This programmed made me feel like the other computers on the network was just a second monitor connected to the computer im using.
Not to mention the fact that it improved the ability to play pranks on my sister by moving her windows before she could click on them :).
Though i have to see her computer to know where my mouse is going. its well worth it.
I gave her the excuse that its better for when you have problems that want to be fixed by me.
I am Amazed by this application,
And its very very easy to use

WOW. i am very very impressed by this application. All my computers are set up on my LAN to the internet. Windows users can still get file copy/past support using Stardock's Multiplicity.@nad: There really isn't any point in using the app if you can't see the other computer's screen. For that you'd be better off using VNC/Remote Desktop/X11 forwarding, etc.

Looks great, much more intuitive and feature-filled compared with Win2VNC or Synergy.
