TechTV and The Screen Savers

Every time they “revamp” that show, they make it worse. I tried watching it a few months back (after Leo “the communist” left), but it was too painful to watch. Heck, the whole NETWORK is painful to watch now. There isn't a single show left on there that I have any desire to watch.

It makes me mad that they took a perfectly good network, fired the people on it, canned all the computer shows (except for games and TSS), moved to L.A (taking the San Fran feel away), and generally trashed it. :( I loved that network, but didnt watch CFH as much after you left and pretty much stopped watching TSS after Leo left and then no Patrick.
It's sad. I say plan a funeral, bury the poor thing, and start over again.
There, I feel even BETTER. ;)

TSS is dead to me now. G4 is a joke.

The current ScreenSavers looks very unorganized. I just watched their show yesterday, and it looked like they were winging half of the show. I have Comcast, so I was thrilled when they moved the show to CA. After watching it though, it just doesn't seem the same.

Does Lockergnome automatically post generic messages to other blogs based on some topic keywords? Seems a little spammish imo….

I gave up on The Screensavers shortly after the merger. More and more, they seemed to want to appeal to the Junior Set, judging from the hosts and the manic screaming/cheering that would open up an episode. Sigh, I miss TechTV, it's successor goes totally unwatched in this household.

I miss ZDTV not TechTV. That was when they showed content I was more interested in. The network has continued to “evolve” but not in the direction I would have liked to have seen. Let's face it though, if what they were doing worked, it probably wouldn't have been changed so much and then sold. This is a business folks, just like Lockergnome and they'll make whatever changes to make a profit.
As for Chris, he was a lousy host IMO. CFH played more to the novice user but Leo was far more watchable.

You should a general forum on your invision board so that the subject of this network can be discussed rather there rather than thru a blog

G4 is really taking the Tech out of TechTV.

I never watched “Call For Help” after Chris and Brett left. I likes The screensavers more after Leo left. Good ol' Kevin Rose (darktipper). We dont watch TTV anymore because when it became G4 they stopped transmitting to New Zealand (after all Chris did to make sure he had more New Zealand fans).

This show sucks so bad now. The hosts are so lame. They lost my viewership. Kevin and Alex were pretty good together. Not the same without Leo. G4 has ruined everything.

I used to be able to sit down, turn on techtv, and watch almost whatever show was on. Well not any more.

They killed TSS g4 ruined it. Now they have lame Pereira and Attack of the Show!

I hope you can help me.

I recorded some talks at a convention and edited them in a program called audacity, then exported files in both wma and mp3 in different folders.

I’m trying to add the mp3 files to the Windows Media Player library, but I’m getting duplicates of other files and only some of my mp3 files.

How do I add my folder to the library and how do I edit and clean up my library?

I would really appreciate your help.
