I agree with Mike. I like what Alt-Esc is trying to do, but I think it does a shitty job.

All I want is one button to move to the next task and one button to move to the previous task.

Alt-Esc seems to pick it's own order.

I personally use Alt-Esc on Windows XP. It works the same as Alt-Tab, but it instantly switches between windows instead of giving the menu-thing. It is better than Alt-Tab if you have just two or three windows open.

Chris, I'll always love your work!

Although, how come these videos are short and not as 'from-the-heart' as previous/other videos?
Are they for something in particular?

hey fernando, many of the readers here are new to computing. Even users of many years dont know some of the basic short cuts that help quite a bit. We all need some help.

John Buffman tip is a excellent tip also. On the Vista or Xp bottom bar if you have 3 or 4 programs/files open, right click then select "Show side by side" You see your apps opened and able to drag file between them or double click to maximize it. Then just minimize it to go back to its place.......It a great alternative to tabbing between windows.
This is why i used to come more to this site was for tips for all levels. I have been computing since '84 .......

Lately it has become more Vista bashing and Apple praising....I really do hope we can get back to helpful (basic & advanced) topics.....anyways just a thought.........Thanks Chris.......
