I happen to have the manual for students of the Force. This venerable text crafted by ancient Jedi masters has educated and enlightened generations of Jedi. A single copy has survived. It’s now been passed on to me. This is the LAST remaining copy in the entire Galaxy. Annotated by those who have held it, lived it and studied its secrets, it has now been given to me to treasure.

The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force is a must-have book for anyone out there who loves Star Wars and all things Jedi. My copy was previously owned by such esteemed names as Yoda and Obi-Wan.

There’s even a note in the book from Luke himself. We’re good pals, Luke and I. He even once signed a napkin and sent it to me.

You can tell the book has been well-used. Some of the pages are torn and singed. They are worn in places, and even missing. There’s even a hologram inside. I haven’t seen one in ages. It explains the history and hierarchy of the Jedi Order, and what Jedi must know to take their place as defenders of the peace in the galaxy—from mastery of the Force to the nuances of lightsaber combat.

It was written by: Fae Coven, Grand Master and head of the Jedi Council; Crix Sunburris, Jedi Ace starfighter pilot; Restelly Quist, Jedi Chief Librarian; Skarch Vaunk, Jedi Battlemaster and lightsaber expert; Bowspritz, Jedi Biologist and expert on the Living Force; Sabla-Mandibu, Jedi Seer and Holocron expert; Morrit Ch’gally, Jedi Recruiter; Gal-Stod Slagistrough, Jedi leader of the Agricultural Corps.

Commentary in the book was added by: Yoda, Thame Cerulian, Count Dooku, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Darth Sidious, and Luke Skywalker.

The Jedi Path is an amazing tome – one you definitely are going to have to have.

I didn’t do too bad! I’m hereby challenging you to do the same (and record the video for posterity, of course). If you don’t want to talk like Yoda, try another character voice impersonation.

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

You will know it is time to press the play button when you hear R2-D2 beep, like this…

I grew up in a simpler time in respect to video games. Because of that, I’m still very much just a casual gamer. I don’t really go to arcades anymore, but I grew up with them. I have my own arcade in my office now. Soulcaliber IV is out for the Xbox 360 (and other platforms) now, and one of the characters you can play is Yoda! I grew up with Yoda!

Set to reveal many long-kept secrets, Soulcaliber IV takes place in the 16th century, and involves a legendary cast of characters, each motivated by a unique set of circumstances, but each with the same goal: to emerge victorious in order to claim the powerful Soul Swords, Soul Edge and Soul Caliber.

As you prepare to join this formidable lineup of combatants, you can customize your character and select fearsome, powerful weapons perfectly suited for deadly combat. Fight for the two soul swords with contenders from all over the World – and even beyond, as two new enigmatic characters from a galaxy far, far away make their dramatic appearance.

I realize that some of you are really into the whole fighting genre of games. I would consider myself as intermediate in terms of trying to fight, button mash, and try to defeat other characters. I had to try this out, and play Yoda. I wanted to unleash some of these moves in the game.

As I started to play the game, I noticed all the different modes and the fact that I could create a character and customize it if I chose to. Of course, I chose single-player mode. I started off at the training level, since I’ve never played this before. Yoda, of course, looks awesome. The graphics are amazing. I know my webcam isn’t able to keep up with the action very well, but the quality is just excellent.

I grew up as a Star Wars Geek. I remember playing The Empire Strikes Back on my Atari years ago. Playing this game is bringing back memories of that, and taking my game playing to a whole new level. Thumbs up… way up.

I met Brad in a swamp down in Dagobah – where it bubbles all the time like a giant carbonated soda. I saw the little guy sitting there on a log; I asked him his name and in a raspy voice, he said: “Fitzpatrick.”

Then he told me: “It’s not easy being green – having to spend each day the color of the leaves.” I think it would be nicer being red, or yellow, or gold… or something much more colorful like that.
