Just about everyone has WiFi or access to WiFi, and they all seem to have a dead zone where the WiFi isn&#39;t available and getting their signal to cover those dead zones isn&#39;t always as easy as repositioning the access point.</p>
<p>If you have a wireless router that supports an open source firmware, you could potentially boost the signal strength buy increasing the antenna strength. Of course, you&#39;ll need to flash the firmware every time you want to boost the signal.</p>
<p>In addition to increasing the antenna strength, you could also get a high-gain antenna which will pick up a stranger signal over a larger area than a normal antenna would pick up.</p>
