Yes, this video will get a million views. Why? I don’t know! Pixie isn’t sure exactly what’s going on, but that’s ok. She’s often clueless when it comes to funny sounds emanating from my office.

I love my dogs, as most of you already know. Pixie and Wicket are my babies, even though they’re a few years old now. I spoil these dogs, and treat them like they’re my children. Heck, they ARE my children.

New Dog Trick!

Do you have pets? If so, what kind? Have you ever taught them any tricks? I love my dogs Wicket and Pixie – they’re my kids. They are usually quite smart… almost too smart at times. They pick up on new little tricks pretty easily, unless they’re just in one of those moods where they think they’re the boss.

You all know I adore Wicket and Pixie. They are my children! And, I have to admit… they are spoiled rotten. Watch what happens when they get tormented just a tiny bit with their favorite type of doggie treat!

What is Your Favorite Type of Dog?

Ponzi and I are the proud parents of Wicket and Pixie. They are a mixed breed: Lhasa Apso, Sh1tzu, and Poodle (Lhasash1tzapoo). They are essentially our kids, as we don’t have any human children at this point in time. Yes, they are quite spoiled. Ask any dog lover, and they’ll loudly tell you that their canine friends are a member of the family, just like our two are.

Wicket, the Internet Puppy

Wicket has suddenly learned how to play Hide ‘n’ Seek with me. He hides… and I can never find him! He better not be surfing those Lassie websites again, or he’s seriously going to be in the dog house this time.

A Dog’s Social Network

That’s it! Wicket and Pixie are officially online, though I wouldn’t expect to hear much from them. They each have separate Dogster profiles: Puppy 1 and Puppy 2. I was prompted to set ‘em up after Ted Rheingold (himself) commented on a recent photo of Wicket. I don’t know what to say, so I’ll let Wicket speak for himself:

Cute or Stupid

Ponzi and I are dog lovers, but I don’t think we’d ever stick either one of our puppies in a knapsack and motorbike ‘em around town. For one, it’s chilly today – and we wouldn’t want our pet to get sick. Plus, what if they saw something across the street and knew that barking wouldn’t suffice? I’m not sure if what this guy did was cute or stupid. No matter, I’m glad I had my camera at the ready (at least, it was in my front pocket). The only time we do anything “cute” with our dogs is around the holidays. Wicket won’t stand for wearing sweaters – or anything other than his collar, for that matter. That child was born to be wild.

Wicket, The Puppy

I love dogs – I really do. When Ponzi finally gave me the go-ahead to start looking for a furry companion, I was overjoyed. We both kinda lost our “best friends” before meeting one another (Sprocket from my divorce, and Georgia Belle due to circumstances after her divorce). She saw a billboard with a frumpy-lookin’ bulldog on it, and that was enough to get her thinking about adopting a puppy again. We started doing our research, and narrowed it down to a “poo” mix. Little did we know that Wicket and Pixie were waiting for us to find them. Lotsa-shits-a-poos is a breed, didn’t you know? They were born on April 1st, 2004.
