When I ask people to send me ideas for cool USB products, I keep getting this one sent to me. It&#8217;s a USB beverage chiller. I was skeptical as to whether one of these would work or not, so I decided to try it for myself. Once it&#8217;s plugged in for awhile, it will cool to about 45 degrees Fahrenheit, which is definitely pretty chilly.</p><p>I didn&#8217;t realize Mac OS X could do this. I had this cooler plugged into the laptop, and at one point the Mac told me that it was drawing too much USB power and would shut it down. Wow. That&#8217;s impressive. So, I changed it up and plugged it into one of the USB grommets on my desk. Or, you can plug it into a wall.</p><p>If you drink cold drinks near your computer, you need one of these.
