href="http://chris.pirillo.com">Chris Pirillo

Seems that some of y’all have been paying attention to what I’ve been complaining about for several months (most recently, in a post outlining the frustrations of the way video networks are handling processed video).

I don’t have the time, energy, or patience to upload the same video file to more than one site. Video networks are hungry for new content, but they’re not doing a very good job at mitigating the risk a producer must take (in spending time transferring a large video that may get a lousy sum of qualified views). Through the grapevine, I’ve heard of at least three services that are aiming to become the upload distribution point for produced video content.

In essence, I upload to one service – and from there, that video is re-uploaded to a growing number of video indexes. I realize that Veoh has had this feature, but it’s limited in scope and doesn’t offer more than a couple of networks (one of which is likely to disappear at some point).

Video statistics across networks will need to get better, too – and I bet TubeMogul will be acquired within months (damn, I should’ve asked for a cut). Advantage to the sneezer who has the advertising and statistical models in check – and I think <a

There's never been an easier way to test software without destroying your primary operating system's stability. Think of how many times you wish you could press a 'reverse' button on your computer. Plus, there's no easier way to try new Linux distributions - see what all the fuss is about. Run Windows in OS X, run Linux in Windows, but the best way to do either is with VMware and/or Parallels.

Coupons for Online Shopping

This feed is fueled by Lockergnome Online Shopping and Coupon Codes
