I am definitely not a math genius, that’s for sure. Back in high school, Trig class blew my mind. Even with a calculator, it was difficult for me to wrap my mind around. Too bad I didn’t have an iPhone back then! One of our community members, Matt Smith sent in an iTunes donation, asking me to check out a new App his friend has created… TrigSolv. I have to say, even though I’m no longer in Trig class – this would definitely come in handy if I was!

TrigSolv is a geometry solving application designed with students, teachers, engineers, and architects in mind. It will solve all of the main geometric figures including triangles, trapezoids, parallelograms, rectangles, ellipses, and circles. Simply enter the measures of the shape that you know and TrigSolv will find the rest for you. Once the figure is solved, TrigSolv will show you an exact scale drawing of it.

Calculators have evolved over the years, and become easier to use. However, I believe that this App may be even better. If your calculator can’t handle equations with complex shapes, it wouldn’t really do you any good. This App works very, very well.

If you are like me, and need as much help as you can get in Math… why not spend the 99 cents for it? It’s rated as a 5-star App!! If you’re in Trigonometry now, or will be in the near future… do yourself a favor and get this for your iPhone or iPod Touch.
