href="http://chris.pirillo.com">Chris Pirillo</a></p><p>I&#8217;m still crawling out from underneath a pile of tasks, and it&#8217;s going to take me a lot longer than previously expected to get everything back on track. We&#8217;re overcoming our software woes one day at a time, and I&#8217;m also learning that intelligent Drupal developers are in absolute short supply &#8211; to the point where I don&#8217;t think the platform will be around for too much longer.</p><p>I&#8217;m not being silent because I want to be silent &#8211; I&#8217;m just trying to formulate my thoughts before saying anything about Gnomedex, and how I found it to be an <a
href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/stewtopia/1106286771/">amazing success</a> (despite the various issues associated with this year&#8217;s production). Every year is different, and that&#8217;s what I love most about the conference. I have a lot to say about a lot of things &#8211; but I can&#8217;t say everything right now because I simply do not have the time.</p><p>It was an absolute joy to spend an extended weekend with my parents and assorted in-laws &#8211; as well as to meet up with old friends and make hundreds of new ones. Imperfectly perfect.<ul
