I had so much trouble trying to decide what to record a video about, I needed help figuring something out. Oh, wait… I can talk about my face being on a pillow!! The awesome guys at Throwboy have made a new pillow with my original Lockergnome logo/face on it!!

I drew this logo myself back when I first started Lockergnome many years ago. It’s supposed to be a caricature of my face. I think it looks a little like me, don’t you? It also makes a very cool looking pillow! The logo is also used for my Gnomedex conference, which is a cross between social media and technology. It’s a confluence of information and inspiration!

When Roberto approached me about making some Pirillows, I was so excited. How cool is that? When you order one for yourself, why not take it around town (or traveling) with you, and snap pictures of it in interesting places? You never know when I may feature it on my blog.

Each week, we do a contest on our new(ish) Contests page. We’ve sadly put them on the back burner recently, due to working so hard on other projects. The good news for you all is that we’re reviving the contests, and having a great time with them! I couldn’t place my finger on it, but I knew that I had heard of these. Once I went to check out the website, I realized that I have these same pillows on my wish list! I fired back a reply email, and ended up having some of these sent to me!

I got to interview the brains behind Throwboy recently. Throwboy is a speciality throw pillow company that caters to niche technology and geek culture. They’re all hand-sewn, and they’re just totally and completely cool!

I’m going to have my Throwboys lined up on the couch downstairs… but I think I may just keep a few here in the office.
