Our friends over at ThinkGeek have done it again. As if my Tenori-On wasn’t cool enough, now I have two Bliptronic 5000 LED Synthesizers!! They are exclusive to ThinkGeek, and I’m more than happy that they sent these babies to me for review. You can connect as many of them together as you like, and watch them create beautiful music! Change the tone, volume, style and settings with a touch of a button, or a turn of a knob. They are simple to use, and addictive to play with!

Creating your song centers around a 4-beat pattern, which evolves as you push buttons. Each row of vertical buttons stands for the notes found in one octave. Push a button to turn a note on, and then push it again to turn it off. Pushing more than one button in a vertical row will make a chord!

There are knobs down the side of the Bliptronic, as I mentioned. These allow you to change the tempo, choose your instrument from 8 different sounds, adjust the volume, and turn looping on or off. There’s also, of course, a ‘Play’ button.

You can get a Bliptronic of your own for around fifty dollars. That’s not much money when you think of how many hours, days and even months of fun you’re going to get out of this thing. Wow your friends, and dazzle your family. Put your imagination to work! You know you can’t wait to get your hands on this thing!

iNudge is probably the coolest new website I’ve come across in quite awhile. You can make a composition of music on your own, and share it with others. You might remember when I demonstrated my Tenori-On awhile back. iNudge is very similar, only it’s online – and free! You can’t beat free!

iNudge is so easy to play with. Select 1 of 8 different Sound Patterns from the small Matrixes icons. Use your mouse to draw notes on each 16 Step Matrix. For each Pattern, adjust Volume, Mute, Clear, or set Audio Pan from Left to Right. Click on the Tempo numbers and click up or down to change the overall Tempo.

Once you have created your masterpiece, you can easily share it with others. If you click “get and share”, it allows you to send the link to your music by email, or get an embed code to spread around in various communities you may be a member of! Send it to Twitter, Facebook and other sites so that your friends and family will be amazed at your musical prowess!

I’m no musician by any stretch of the imagination. But, I love to make music! I have a feeling you do, too. Music can soothe your mind and soul. It can help transport you to a better place, no matter what type of mood you’re in. Playing some music when you’re feeling angry or down can usually help lift your spirits as your mind drifts. Let your spirit free for a while, and get off your butt – dance around like crazy in order to release some energy and give yourself a much-needed laugh.

I’m having so much fun playing with the Korg DS10, a cartridge available for the Nintendo DS. If you’ve ever wished you had a Tenori-ON to play with, you’ll be interested in this game! It will provide hours – even days – worth of fun!

The Korg DS10 lets you create your own unique sounds with tons of on-screen controls, or by starting with a template. With two synth parts and four synth/drum parts, you can create both synth and drum lines!

One of the coolest features is the multi-player mode. Up to eight people can connect via the wireless link to perform as a group. Each Korg DS10 can be played as its own instrument or they can be given a part to create an entire band. This lets you create an unlimited amount of applications.

Additionally, people who have created new riffs and songs can exchange their session data with other users. It’s even possible to send session data in advance to your friends, so you can all play together!

What more could you ask for? Hours of interactive (or on your own) fun. The only limit is your own imagination.

I enjoy listening to music, and creating sounds of my own. I love using my Korg Kaossilator to create and loop sounds. I did a whole video demonstrating it not that long ago! Korg also has the Kaoss Pad, which is a processor. It takes a sound source and acts as a go between from your sound source, to your speakers.

No other interface is as intuitive, immediate or just plain fun to use. By simply touching, tapping or sliding your finger over the touchpad, the all-new KP3 allows you to control multiple effects parameters and manipulate samples in real time. On stage or in the studio, these gestures and moves can become powerful and expressive performance elements. More than a processor, the KP3 is a complete instrument allowing you to manage, recall, and play back samples; sample on the fly; and add dynamic processing to any audio signal or to the samples themselves.

The new pad lighting system provides visual cues for the current program, held position, and more – it can even scroll a custom message! This interface offers a whole new level of interaction with the operator. Sampling and effects are totally integrated, so you can sample through the effects, and even resample the output to create powerful, multi-element sounds. Plus, you can sample and resample the synths and drums within the unit KAOSSILATOR style, to create musical phrases on the fly!

Make sure you check out our coupons site before you purchase this – or any other product! We work hard to bring you all of these savings, so that you can keep more of your money… or buy more stuff!

You can create your own new beats. There is a sound bank online that allows you to download their application. You can then use it to easily create your own cool new tunes like I did. Weepr is available for download right now.

Weepr is an italian project that allow you to create a Beat. Weepr is a flash drum machine / step sequencer free to download in AIR Version, so cross operating system! In the next release you’ll be able to make the weepr widget to share your beat trought internet. There is also a support website (in italian now) where you can find a video demo.

Weepr works with Adobe Air. If you remember the Tenori-On, you know that I’m no musician. But I love music, and I love to create things. Certainly, Weepr fits inline with something just as creative, and more affordable of course. The interface is very similar to Tenori-On, and it’s free. It works quite well, too!

The concept is simple. You have five different layers. On each layer, you have a different musical instrument, such as drums. You can change the tempo, pause or even erase your compositions. It doesn’t have a lot of features, but then again it is free. It’s still fun to play with, and will become your next big time-waster!
