Yes, we all are meeting each other for the first time. At least, all four of us are together for the first time. This was an epic moment, and expect to see everybody’s respective video perspective uploaded to their own channels at some point in the near future!

Thanks to @Jon4Lakers @soldierknowbest and @TysiPhoneHelp for coming to hang out in the Reese’s booth!

Were you at CES, too?

What Do You Think About Apple Products and Services?

I had a FaceTime chat with SoldierKnowsBest last night and decided to capture the conversation on video (go figure). Just curious to know – how many of you actually care about what Apple does?

He was using FaceTime on his iMac, and I had mine going on my iPhone 4. There have been a few stumbling blocks when trying to use FaceTime, but it works pretty well for the most part. I can’t always connect as easily as I would like.

Soldier and I both have two FaceTime accounts: a public and a private one. It’s just easier to manage that way. He feels that FaceTime actually works better than Skype for video calling.

What is your general opinion of Apple products and services?

Who is Soldier Knows Best?

Earlier, I finally had a chance to connect with Mark on FaceTime. You probably know him on YouTube (and other social sites) as SoldierKnowsBest. The burning question is… WHAT does he know best?

Mark is in the Army Reserves, stationed in St. Louis right now. He says that his full-time job is as a video producer on YouTube, though! His YT bio states that his channel is dedicated to “The latest news, reviews, and demos of the best tech hardware, software and everything else.” He’s personable, smart and fun to watch.

You may remember my talking about him on the blog not long ago. Mark proposed to long-time girlfriend Christine via Twitter – and she accepted with a tweet. I thought it was pretty unique and cool at the time, but it seems to have become somewhat of a fad now. Way to go for starting that trend, Mark! They plan to live stream their actual wedding, as well!

Mark says that he never dreamed of something like this. He only began uploading videos for fun a couple of years ago. He started slowly building a following, and noticed how many others out there were making a living out of this. It still blows his mind that he actually makes a living this way, and encourages others to never give up. Keep working hard, and reaching for your dreams.

I’m telling you – if I can do this, anyone can. Mark agrees 100%.
