href="http://chris.pirillo.com">Chris Pirillo

Being sick has its advantages – ones I never knew about! I have had some sort of crazy virus for several days now. I admit to spending one entire day sleeping it off as best I could. I stayed out of my office for the most part, and knocked myself out with the medicines the doctor gave me. Since that day, I’ve spent as much time as possible doing nothing other than sitting in my office. Since that happens to be where I work… I’ve actually accomplished quite a lot! I haven’t felt like going anywhere really, or “doing” anything much.

I’ve managed to catch up on some reading I felt I was behind on. I have come up with some ideas for upcoming projects. And, I’ve even managed to croak out some geeky new videos for the YouTube channel. I’m ahead of myself on those, which is kind of cool. Usually, the things I record are uploaded immediately the next day. Now I have a bit of a “buffer”, in case there’s a day I am too busy with other things to record.

As backwards as it seems, being sick has made me more productive. What helps boost your “get things done” levels? Also – what do you spend the most time doing when you’re sick? Do you curl up in front of the tv, or read a book? Do you spend all of your time sleeping? Or, are you like me and plant yourself in front of the computer monitors?

Chris Pirillo

When Ponzi started to feel sick earlier this week, I knew it was just a matter of time before my own throat was coated with lemon-flavored phlegm. Self-produced mucus, mind you – not hers! Oh, and “lemon-flavored” is always the hope – yet it always seems to taste like yicky-yucky. And so, as earlier reported, I can’t remember the last time I left our cruise cabin with a clear head. Seems our romantic vacation turned into a bedridden holiday all too quickly. I don’t want the honeymoon to be over, but I really can’t wait to be home again – even though I don’t yet have my own bed in which to sleep there (Thomasville has been holding it hostage or something). Call me Mr. Sniffles in the meantime, but don’t really call me because I can’t easily get to my voice mail out here in the Atlantic ocean.
Chris Pirillo

It’s rainy season in Seattle (we really don’t have a winter). That, combined with having black mold in our master closet upstairs, sleeping on a makeshift bed in our family room every night, and having clothes strewn about the house is not really making “home matters” any better for Ponzi and myself. The end of the month can’t come soon enough for us. Life is stressful, and our landlords aren’t making it any easier. Is anybody from Quorum listening – because if you are, YOU SUCK!

This morning, we woke up sore and a bit sniffly. It was just a matter of time before she and I came down with something. To battle this impending case of the crappies, we picked up Coldcalm and Oscillococcinum from the store this evening. I’ve been popping the Coldcalm tablets tonight, but I’m not sure they’re working. Allegedly, this homeopathic medicine will curb sneezing, runny noses, nasal congestion, minor sore throats, etc. Our bodies aren’t quite at DEFCON 2 yet, but we’d like to do as much as possible to keep from getting worse.<ul

There's never been an easier way to test software without destroying your primary operating system's stability. Think of how many times you wish you could press a 'reverse' button on your computer. Plus, there's no easier way to try new Linux distributions - see what all the fuss is about. Run Windows in OS X, run Linux in Windows, but the best way to do either is with VMware and/or Parallels.

Coupons for Online Shopping

This feed is fueled by Lockergnome Online Shopping and Coupon Codes
