We need assistance with the following services, and it seems we’ve been too busy to pare down the list of possible local (Seattle) contractors.

So long as you’re licensed and bonded, you stand a good chance of scoring our business if you’re one of the first contractors to respond to our list of needs – especially if you’re willing to have your services recorded in video, to be broadcast live as a demonstration of what you’re doing. Think of it as a new form of free advertising that beats the hell out of traditional advertising.

I’m using that premise as a starting point for negotiation of rates.

Here’s what we’re needing from Seattle-area contractors:

• Basic electrical work in the master bathroom, installation of fans
• Roofing, as some of our tiles seem to have not been nailed down very well
• Custom clothesline in the laundry room (per Ponzi’s spec)
• Powerwashing the deck and porch this summer
• Sealing / resealing / treating outdoor wood this summer
• Carpentry work in our den, making screens for our shelving units

And, even if nobody is out there – then at least I know what work lies ahead for us (personally).
