She&#8217;s going back and forth on a handful of brands, but that hasn&#8217;t brought us any closer to a purchasing decision. Here&#8217;s what she tells me:</p><ul><li>The options are Viking, Jenn Air or Sub-Zero</li><li>#1 requirement is size (38&#8243; W, 28&#8243;D, 72&#8243; T)</li><li>Practicality tells her to go with the best &#8220;known&#8221;</li><li>She wants a &#8220;sleek&#8221; exterior</li><li>Filtered water and ice on the inside</li><li>A separate filter for the ice and water</li><li>Stainless steel</li><li>Dual zones</li><li>Prefers French doors, bottom freezer</li><li>She likes European style</li></ul><p>And what she doesn&#8217;t want in a fridge:</p><ul><li>No ice / water nozzles</li><li>No &#8220;old style&#8221; fridge with the freezer on top</li><li>She will take side-by-side if it&#8217;s wide (if not deep)</li><li>No Kenmores or LGs</li></ul><p>Cool! Or, not cool &#8211; depending on how soon we decide to buy something. She&#8217;s caught up largely on price, knowing that high-end appliances tend to retain their value over the years (for resell). I have a feeling we&#8217;ll be going with a Sub-Zero, because she loves the name.<ul
