href="http://dmiessler.com/">blog post</a> putting this to rest once and for all.</p><p>There seems to be some confusion, with most people either saying “Oh Es Ex” or “Oh Es Ten“. OS X comes with a built-in program called say which literally “says” anything you tell it to. Simply open a <a
href="http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/a/mac/2001/12/14/terminal_one.html">terminal window</a> and type in <strong>say “X”</strong>. The computer will respond <strong>X</strong> (as in &#8220;ex&#8221;).
