There have been a variety of issues reported with Windows power management, including slow computer response as well as multiple hardware issues requiring a reboot.</p><p>Here&#39;s the problem: if the power management drivers are not perfect there&#39;s a chance that when you wake the computer up the hardware states would have changed and the drivers did not keep up with the changes.</p><p>There are not too many ways to get around this problem short of rebooting. You can check to see if your computer manufacturer has an update, or if your particular hardware has updates.</p><p>You may also want to see if you can put it into a light sleep mode, or you may want to remove power management functionality altogether (unless you&#39;re running a laptop).</p><p>What do you think?</p><p>Want to embed our <a
