Logitech is both Good and Bad

Remember how I was looking for a keyboard the other day? Well, I did purchase a Logitech diNovo Edge. The hardware was amazing, but the software was beyond lousy. After a couple of BSODs and workflow hiccups, I decided to uninstall the SoB and take ‘er back to the store. My friend, Jeff Partridge, had this to say about the peripheral:

The Logitech Di Novo may not be the most economical keyboard in existence, but for anyone who aspires to type (fast!), it’s the top of the mountain. The keys are nearly flat, like a laptop’s and the keyforce is minimal. I can type much faster on it than my software would be able to handle . If you want to touch it out, you’re going to have to do something I’m betting you hate to do: head to the big box stores. Best Buy (here, anyway) has an entire aisle of keyboards on display. And the Di Novo is one of them. Hop on your Segway and head over there, pronto!

I’m still waiting for the fabled Microsoft Entertainment Desktop 8000 to be released – but they keep pushing the release date back!
