I remember when Ponzi and I were planning on spending a weekend in the mountains. She convinced me that i needed a pair of hiking boots. She also convinced me that I needed warmer socks. Oh, and I also needed to get pants that were better at insulation. Then there was the new winter jacket to match the new pants. Before I knew it, we had spent an arm and a leg on outdoor gear – and they didn’t offer a discount on the shoe that i couldn’t wear after giving them the foot attached to that leg.

Had we these Sierra Trading Post coupons at the time, maybe the outdoor accessories shopping trip would have been a bit more affordable:

The best part about getting all that stuff is… well, we never actually went on that trip because she got cold feet at the last minute. Maybe she’s the one who needed a warmer pair of shoes? We still have all that stuff stored for the next time she thinks we need to do something different for the weekend…
