Wicket and Pixie wanted to help me pass along a message. We want you to head over to SurveyForGood – Pause for a Cause to create a video related to your favorite non-profit or charity. Upload it to that website, and you’ll have a chance to win a trip to Africa. I happen to be one of the judges – but don’t think that I will play favorites!! What charity or non-profit do you support? Let us know.

Not only will the winning entries be used as Public Service Announcements around the World, there are some seriously cool prizes to be won!

  • Grand Prize: Trip for Two to Africa – One grand prize winner and a guest will receive a trip to Africa ($6,000 value) to contribute to charitable efforts in the field, while being introduced to tribal customs, encountering spectacular wildlife, and engaging in an unparalleled social and educational experience with the Freeplay Foundation.
  • The Jury Prize: A Trip to New York City and Portfolio Review – Two runners up will each receive a trip to New York ($1750 value) and an opportunity to showcase their portfolio in front of the creative heads of some of the largest advertising and media companies in North America.

What better (and more fun!) way could there be to promote the message of your favorite charity than this? This is a chance for you to show your creativity – your passion – and your loyalty.

Good luck to everyone. I sincerely hope to see a lot of entries, and a lot of charities being helped through the support of the communities.
