When you need to leave a note for yourself or someone else, how do you do it? Do you just use yellow stickies, or a cork board? You can use anything, really. But if you want to do it the geeky cool way, you should use one of these boards. The Neon Backlit Dry-erase Message Board is fun and functional both.

If you ever need your loved ones and/or roommates to actually read the chores list, this neon backlit sign will make sure they see it. Post the evening’s menu or create beautiful fluorescent messages and designs. Includes AC adapter and red, yellow and green pens. Acrylic screen is easily cleaned with dry cloth or window cleaner.

Have you ever sent an important message, only to have the recipient later say they never received it? You’re pretty sure that they got it an ignored it, but you can’t prove it. Isn’t it great that there’s a way you can finally know once and for all whether your message was received or not?

One way to do this is by using Privnote. Privnote is a tool that allows you to send private messages via the Internet, and make sure they’ve been read by your intended recipient. Privnote is so easy to use, it will make you think there’s a catch. Honest… there isn’t. Simply write your message and you’ll receive a link. Email the link to someone, and presto! That’s it. Really!

How does Privnote differ from sending a traditional email?

  1. You get a link to the note, and once that link is clicked the note is destroyed so it can only be seen once. If someone intercepts the link and sees the note before the person who’s intended to read it, that person will known that the note has been eavesdropped, and can tell you about it.
  2. If you want to be notified when your note gets read you can do it by checking the notify box located below then note. Neither email nor instant messaging provides a reliable way to know if, let alone when, your messages are read.
  3. If you send a note and suddenly regret having done so, you can click the link yourself which will destroy the note and prevent the receiver to read it.

Never be left wondering again whether your notes are being read. Try the free Privnote application the next time you have something important you need to send out.

  • Do not write in “text language.” It is hard to read and you look like an idiot who can’t take the time to spell out words. For example, don’t use: Yo, c u l8r ily!
  • Do not send short text messages like “ok”, “hey”, “no”…ect. Most people don’t have unlimited text messaging. Because if you send someone something like hey, they send back hey, then you say how was your day, they say great, they say how was your day, You just wasted 5 text messages. Say something more like “Hey, how was your day?” Also, don’t send “No-end texts.” There the kind were someone says “Hahaha.” you have no idea what to say next. Think when you’re texting like you are having a real conversation, face to face.
  • Don’t send forwards. They drive people crazy! Forwards are the messages that say, “If you don’t send this to 345 people in 2 hours, the little girls spirit will haunt your for life.” Are you really going to believe that?
  • Don’t do anything on your phone that you can do on your computer! Don’t download songs, check your email and all that other web stuff when you can do it on your computer! You will end up paying a whole lot of money on data charges. Its not that pretty when you get your bill and you see you owe 70 bucks in data charges or more!
  • Last but not least, don’t sign up for all the “Text message Alert” features you get everywhere. Before you know it, your bill will have you paying $100 for all those texts! Just look at it online at your computer. Its also a waste of time for you checking all those texts. Stop being glued to your phone and explore the world.
