Recording audio can be fun! You may be doing your own podcast, or you’re in a band. If I were to ask you for an open-source solution that will help me edit audio, you would probably recommend Audacity. I just don’t like it, though. What other alternatives are out there? There’s an auxiliary section, so you can tweak things as you like. What makes this different from a regular old audio editor, is that they cross your compilations over with the community. As soon as you create something with this software, they want you to share it with everyone else. You’re not on your own. The entire thing is centered around your creation, in relation to the rest of the community.
