Those of us with iPhone 3Gs certainly know the pain and frustration of having no battery left. I misplaced my iPhone earlier, so I tried calling it. It didn’t work, since the battery was dead. I wish I had a battery pack sitting on it all the time. In the past, I have reviewed various types of packs and batteries that can be used with the iPhone. Thankful, the Mophie Juice Pack is now available for the iPhone 3G.

Juice Pack 3G is specially designed for iPhone 3G and has passed the strict over-the-air performance tests by an Apple designated test lab. As a result, the Mophie Juice Pack 3G has been officially certified by Apple Inc. as a “Work with iPhone 3G” product!

Mophie Juice Pack 3G also uses Apple designated connector, which can only be ordered through Apple’s certified vendors. This ensures its 100% compatibility with your iPhone 3G.

The Juice Pack is a rechargeable lithium polymer battery in the form of a non-slip, soft grip case.

The Juice Pack works very well, that’s for sure. However, it doesn’t give me the Macro lens slide-over that I love so much on my current iPhone case. For me, it’s a matter of do I want the Macro lens, or to double the life of my battery. The Juice Pack will definitely get a lot of use, though. If you are looking to extend your battery – to double its current charge – the Mophie Juice Pack is just what the doctor ordered.
