Just about every mobile device has a camera on it these days. But how do you get your pictures to your printer? If you have an iPhone and an HP Photosmart C6300 printer, you can use a brand new App to send your pictures to print. Usint HP iPrint Photo, it’s a snap to send your pictures to your HP printer – even wirelessly!

HP iPrint Photo is a free downloadable software application that allows you to quickly and easily print 4″ x 6″ photos. Images stored on your iPhone or iPod touch can print on most HP networked ink jet printers connected to a local WiFi network. Wireless printing is a fun extension of the iPhone / iPod touch’s easy photo capture and viewing experience.

It’s very simple to do this. Click the iPrint icon on your iPhone, and then browse to the picture you wish to print. Select the print option on the lower part of the screen, and off you go! If it’s the first time, you’ll need to select which printer to use from the drop down menu. Once you have set the default, you’ll not need to do that again – unless you get a new printer, or need to change the default.

I demonstrated how quickly and easily this happens by snapping a picture of the live chat screen using my iPhone. It only took a couple of seconds to pull up the picture and send it to the printer. I then ran downstairs to where the printer is… what do you know? The picture had printed perfectly.

There you go! I’m very impressed with this App. It’s easy to use, it works great… oh, and did I mention it’s also FREE?? Nice going, HP.
