If you are a fan of Star Wars, then you may want to take a look at this series of comic books. They are condensed into Omnibus versions, and will provide you with hours of entertainment.

The Star Wars Omnibus comic series is a collection of comics from over the years. I now have Early Victories, Droids, A Long Time Ago Volume 1, X-Wing Road Squadron Volume 1, 2 and 3, Rise of the Sith, Tales of the Jedi Volume 1 and 2, Menace Revelaed, Boba Fett, Shadows of the Empire and Emissaries and Assassins.

The reviews on Amazon for these are fabulous, so I didn’t hesitate in the least when ordering. I can tell you that I am very happy with these.

If you know of other awesome Star Wars items I should look at, let me know. I’m not quite a Jedi – yet. I’m working on it, though.

Star Wars Omnibus Comic Book Look

This is Ken Brady, who lives in both Portland and Japan. He’s a software developer who I think you’ll want to follow! He’s working on a few very cool things. One of these is a comic reader for the iPhone. You can change languages on the fly even, from English to Japanese! There are game-style elements involved, which makes it not only cool for people who like to read these types of comics. It’s also geared towards those of you who may want to create comics! This App is called Foxfire, and will be available soon!

Ken works with One Coin Comics. They have several excellent ideas floating about, many of which we’ll be seeing in the near future. In addition to Foxfire, Golden will be hitting the market soon. Golden is another comic series, focusing on the life and trials of abby – a self-assured musician who finds herself caught up in a mystery.

I ran into Ken a few weeks ago when I was attending the [re]Think Hawaii conference. I not only had a great time there… I met some awesome people, as well. Ken was one of them. Comics on my iPhone. Who knew?
