The Light Night Before Christmas is a post from Chris Pirillo

Oh, what a wonderful Christmas Eve we had – with Ponzi’s aunt and uncle, and our good friend Brandon Paddock. It was a quiet evening, for the most part. We had dinner, exchanged a few gifts, decked the ficus with a single string of lights (as we didn’t get a Christmas tree this year), and reminisced about Christmases past. When it was just the two of us together, Ponzi and I made a halfhearted attempt at exchanging gifts and whatnot – although most of her gifts are to be acquired after our honeymoon. I can only assume that everybody out there had a good night, too – merry and bright and all that jazz.

VMware and Parallels for Virtual Machines

It doesn't matter if you're running on Windows or Mac OS X - every power user needs either Parallels or VMware (or both). There's never been an easier way to test software without destroying your primary operating system's stability. Think of how many times you wish you could press a 'reverse' button on your computer. Plus, there's no easier way to try new Linux distributions - see what all the fuss is about. Run Windows in OS X, run Linux in Windows, but the best way to do either is with VMware and/or Parallels.
