A few weeks ago, the Reese’s company sent a huge crate to my home. I was as excited as all of you – I LOVE chocolate and especially Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Who doesn’t love them?! The company asked me to live stream from their CES booth and help unveil The Next Big, Little Thing. I happily obliged, of course.

Drum roll, please…..

Reese’s Minis are the next big, little thing from Reese’s. Minis come in packages of dime-sized Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup candies. They are super delicious and actually fun to eat. I was surrounded by bags upon bags of these little goodies and it was very difficult not to rip into a bag every five minutes. I think I gained ten pounds just looking at them for two days, to be honest.

Over on Lockergnome, Steven asked at what age kids should stop going out on Halloween to Trick-or-Treat. The answers are varied, with many feeling that once a kid hits their teens it is time to stop. I’m not so sure I agree with that, though.

Kids these days grow up entirely too fast. They are being pushed into becoming little adults at a much earlier age than ever before. What’s so wrong with letting a teenager dress up and have a good time. Why can’t they just act like a KID? Many adults refuse to hand out candy to anyone they deem to be “too old” to be out on Halloween night. To them I say: Pfffffffft.

One of our chat room moderators is four_ones. He sent me some of this Penguin Candy… so I decided to try it live, with all of you watching and envying.

There are no Hydrogenated oils in this candy, which passes my test. Four_Ones sent this to me because it’s something he grew up eating. His friend’s Mother would bring them from Scotland and keep them in her refridgerator. He used to get busted all the time sneaking to eat them. They’re different colors, but they are all the same flavor. They come individually wrapped, which is good!

Alright, let’s get this show on the road and eat some Penguin! Keep in mind this has nothing to do with Linux. It’s just a trademark of this candy company. Four_Ones says that it tastes sort of like Graham Crackers covered in chocolate, with a creamy chocolate filling. As he’s telling me this, I take my first bite. Holy cow… these are delicious!! I had to yell for Ponzi to come and eat a Penguin.

Thank you for sending me the Penguins, Four_Ones. I do enjoy trying new candy and things. Anytime you want to send me something, I’m definitely up for trying it! Ponzi’s returned from her hiatus, it seems – aided by a desktop publishing tool (no, not Windows Live Writer – which I believe is still at the “barely noteworthy” stage). She’s really upset about this whole John Mark Karr situation – not because of what he may have done, but because of the way the media is covering what he had for dinner on the plane. Even if Karr didn’t kill JonBenet Ramsey, he’s still a dickwad – and the media are even bigger dickwads for spending so much time talking about this dickwad.

THIS JUST IN! John Mark Karr has eaten a Tootsie Roll. I repeat, John Mark Karr – who has been proven innocent and guilty and innocent again by us – has now ingested a Tootsie Rool. For more on this situation, we turn to our candy correspondent in Colorado, Julie Flappingums. Julie, does this mean that Tootsie Rolls are the candies preferred by dickwads?
