So what happens, exactly, when the Great Indoorsman attempts to spend time outdoors? I’ll tell you – I slept for hours when I got home… after I hugged my computers and blew kisses to my electrical outlets!

I went hiking with a friend, two miles up to Rattlesnake Ridge. The scenery was beautiful, definitely. But I admit I started to get the shakes after about 20 minutes of being up there in all that fresh air and sunshine. Where was the fake glow from the screen? Where were the comforting sounds of the fans whirring quietly to keep my machines nice and cool?

I’m not sure how often I may repeat this endeavor. However, at least now we know I can survive it.

Everyone knows that when you camp, you must stay warm with a sleeping bag. Heck, you likely even need a flashlight close at hand, for any number of unkown reasons.

It’s true that I am the Great Indoorsman. I can do pretty much anything indoors that you can do outdoors. I have my sleeping bag, and I have my flashlight. And – I just used my flashlight to help me get warmer! See how clever I am?!

I am a great indoorsman, it’s true. There’s nothing like living in the great indoors. These four walls make you feel… alive! Why would I need to go out *THERE* just to have some fun? I can do anything indoors that you can do outdoors. I can even get myself a tan, right in front of my monitors.

If you like to eat toasted marshmallows, but don’t like to camp outside, why not use your stove? As you can see, it’s quite easy to do. Just make sure you’re careful, and don’t set your indoors on fire. Cuz then – you’ll be living outdoors! We wouldn’t want that, now would we?

You, too, can become a great indoorsman. Heck, you might already be one! Share your indoorsman stories with the rest of the world. Let’s show those outdoors-y types what they’re missing out on!

Even though it’s a well-known fact that I am so white I glow more than my monitors do – I still love summer. I just hate being cold, and never seeing the sun. Of course, living in Seattle there’s never much sun. However, I digress!

Even if you aren’t into the whole camping/fishing/hiking thing, there’s still a lot you can do outside right now. Heck, just take your notebook and go sit in the park. Enjoy the weather, the sun, and the people-watching! Whatever you choose to do, take the time to enjoy each day. Don’t be like me and coop yourself up inside for too long! You’ll go insane… and you’ll start to glow.

My mom and dad just purchased a new RV. Actually, they returned a recently-acquired (used) RV to get this new one. It’s a Pursuit 3500DS by Georgie Boy, and this one certainly beats the RV we owned when I was a kid. Many summers were spent in “the camper.” I can’t imagine doing that again! Ponzi and I aren’t really road trippin’ travelers. My biggest hangup would be on the whole sewage dumping scenario. Yuck. Seriously, yuck.

Maybe once the whole UndoTV thing gets launched (yes, it’s still rolling forward), I can assemble a few sponsors and take a month-long, cross-country trip with my folks. It would probably be less painful to shove an icepick under a toenail, but that would certainly be an experience begging to be chronicled. Could you handle living in close quarters with your parents… for longer than a week?
