The question is, though, do we really need something as large as these companies are putting out there? Of course we’re going to buy the purty shiny toys – they’re new, and they’re cool. But do you really NEED one? How the heck much space is too much, anyway?

Are you really ever going to use up 2TB or more of space on your desktop computer? What in the world are you storing there? Never mind – I likely don’t want to know. The question remains, though – how much hard drive space is actually necessary these days?
