Sweet Blogrolling

I just went to check Scobleizer, one of my favorite blogs, and found that it's moving to a new URL. Not just any new URL, a newer, more complicated, difficult-to-type URL. Why? Perhaps it's just a temporary solution without a proper DNS. Why not scobleizer.com, I ask? Why not scobleizer.com, I beg.

I'm debating whether or not I should enter into Wil's auction for his autographed Star Trek lunchbox. Gretchen would go nuts if I got it for her. Believe it or not, I've never done any buying or selling on eBay before. Perhaps it's time to start?

Lots of speculation on what Apple is going to present to the world on Monday. Buzz in the office is that Apple will be porting OS X over to the Intel platform. They said it themselves: “To go where no PC has gone before.” Let's think about it for a second. Where hasn't a PC been? My great grandmother's house, Steve's desk, Afghanistan… the list is endless. Anyway, Mr. Jobs's keynote may pre-empt our show. Yay.

I've almost gotten to the point where I won't recommend products to people. I loved my Sony DSC-S70 for the longest time. Until I visited the Exploratorium, handed the AIBO handler a memory stick, and was turned away because it wasn't a “pink” one. Whatever. Boom. All my Sony peripherals were sold the next day. Dan says that Sony's new Bluetooth video device is worth a second look. I say that you shouldn't use anything that relies solely on a memory stick. Long live CompactFlash! Death to SmartMedia!

Hey Chris I needled Scoble a bit about breaking everyone's links by moving his page on ICQ earlier and he said they are probably going to change it to something simpler like that. (Which of course means changing it and breaking links, AGAIN!)

What Do You Think?
