Super Bowl Commercials
So, what's so super about the Super Bowl? Its commercials. However, thanks to the Internet, we don't have to bother with the sports part of the equation anymore. IFILM is going to be posting all of the 2005 Super Bowl commercials near real-time. Apparently, there are sixty total commercials that will accompany Super Bowl XXXIX. I'm certainly not tuning into the big game now. I'll wait 'til tomorrow, when all the buzz is circling around the top five Super Bowl ads. Perhaps one of these days, football will be a footnote compared to clever advertising? Or is football already such a thing? I see more endorsements and “official” products than anything else. It's super! Thanks for asking.

I think the game itself has already taken a backseat to the commercials, and, to a lesser extent, the halftime show.
