I’m more of a letters guy than a numbers guy. I hated math in school, and I just don’t want to play a game that involves math. However, I do know that many of you are hooked on Sudoku, so I wanted to pass this great site along to you.
If you’re into Sudoku, check out SudokuJunction. SudokuJunction is abosolutely free. You can register for an account, meet other players with similar interest, play Sudoku and even submit your own puzzles.
When playing the game itself, you can choose from several different options to pick a puzzle. There are sort options such as grid size, solution or not, difficulty and rating by other players. You can choose to give yourself a time limit or not. And as an added bonus, there’s a built-in math checker to help you when you’re stuck.
You can also meet others, send them messages, build a profile, and “favorite” your friends. You can browse other players by their country, gender, age and relationship status. What an easy fun way to meet new friends!
Do you Sudoku? What sites other than SudokuJunction do you find your puzzles at? Email me with more suggestions for Sudoku… or any other… game sites that I might want to pass along to the rest of the world. You can always leave a follow-up comment to this video, as well.
I received this followup email the other day:
I generally play on this site: www.websudoku.com
I learned the rules from these sites and many more:

I feel same way. Sudoku is too mathy, and I like crosswords. Probably because they are easier because sudoku’s get so hard.

binary sudoku would be a 2×2 grid. Given just 1 square, you could solve the rest of it.

um Sudoku isn’t actually math based, it does have number but it’s more based on placing the numbers, it has no mathematics involved, there are some sudokus that uses letters instead. um, let’s see, there was another site I used to play sudoku, I think it was on facebook though, it’s ok, but the only reason why I played that one is cause I can see the Japanese Numbers instead, which I’m used to playing in. I think there a bunch of others there are different versions of sudoku set ups too, there’s a circular version which can be a slight bit more tricky, or I like the 16×16 grid which uses 1-9 and A-G to figure out the puzzle. but as I said, it doesn’t involve math. I do Like Kakuro which is a mathematic puzzle, and the only “crossword” puzzles I like playing are the ones that supply the words for you, I’m not too good with definitions and what not, I don’t think in words too well. LOL I would like to find free online puzzles for those type of “crosswords” and for the Kakuro, but I haven’t found it yet… most search engines hate me. including yahoo and google. I mean I’ll type one thing never find it, someone will type the exact same thing letter for letter, symbol for symbol, everything, and find it on the first try…. I swear my comp hates me… (at least since I’ve reinstalled it, it’s doing better than last time.) Well Have fun with my tid-bit of info!

In fact, that’s the only thing I do with Brain Age.

I finally found a site with some good free games, I’d suggest sticking to the main list on the top left so you’re not buying anything or downloading anything, most of which are daily updated, some have an archive of past puzzles, I hope someone will enjoy this site.

I found this site very helpful when I was learning how to play sudoku. I’m not sure if you’re interested in watching how to videos, but these are great for beginners.
