Spider - We Love You, Spider
Watch the video, then read what Ponzi says:
I have never seen as many spiders as I have seen at our house here in Seattle, WA. There are egg sacs everywhere outside.
Chris and I are both Arachnophobes. We battle over whose turn it is to deal with said current intruders. Long handled vaccum cleaners help with this; as do professional spider killers, or at least we are hoping they do Monday morning.
The worst of it all is the majority of the sacs I can see are on a window above the entryway - where we can't reach. Now I'm afraid 300 baby spiders are going to spin down on us everytime we walk out the door. My imagination runs wild when it comes to spiders… I just can't handle them anywhere in close proximity. On the other side of glass… okay. 15 feet away… better. Down the block… preferrably.
I need to go to Lowes and get a heavy duty sprayer to attach to our water hose so I can wash down the outside of the house. I have to admit I'm still chicken to do that. Anybody got some gaiters I can borrow. Better yet - waders?

Spiders don't have the right to breath my air or live in my space. Bring down that spider.

Good thing “exterminator” was not on your list of potential job options, Chris. Yay to Ponzi for the excellent commentary!

Spiders won't hurt you. They naturally help get rid of tons of other pests. It's part of what balances our eco-system.
Some people are just afraid of them because of their appearance.
It's like calling pest control to get rid of ugly people.
Learn to co-exist.

wow, how funny that was watching chris try, keyword try, to throw a toy at a spider, i can see why you need to hose. i had a problem like that once, but it was gophers in the ground. im sorry chris, but you cant throw anything if your life depended on it. you should go to borders or barnes and noble and buy “How Not To Throw Like A Complete Moron And/Or Girl For Idiots”. it might help.
