No worries. I caught and appreciated the humor – which wasn't the problem. When people take things I write WAY TOO seriously, I have a problem. As my dad used to say, lighten up. Half of what I write is done tongue-in-cheek. At least you now know that I suffer from cynical OCD.

Christin and I keep it at home and off the blogs, for the most part. Our marriage is ours and our little fights we keep between ourselves. Rationale: Other people we know are way more likely to remember our fights and what we said about eachother than we are. Then after the fight is over they'll come back and say “how come you're not mad? after what they did to you!” and we would get all upset again… Silly. We just keep it between us. Having said that lemme say there is no right way or wrong way – just the way that works. I like to say that the difference between Chrisitn and I and other married couples who divorce is that we have “reconcilable” differences and we're reconciling them EVERY DAY! :-P That's humor. I also don't blog about our spats because I'm ususally the jerk who starts them somehow.

Chris, good job of explaining to everyone that, yes, married people do argue. I am sure that the people who replied to yesterday's post that aren't married will be in for the shock of their life when they are married. I know I was. When I was single I had this idealized vision of how perfect married life was going to be and then I got married and discovered the same thing that EVERY relatively newly married couple discovers…you are going to argue. It doesn't mean you hate each other or that you need a divorce lawyer, it means that you are human.
