The good news was I remember having the older version of this great game and sure enough I found it and it installed very easily. I don't know about you but when I download a program I really like for everything I need to be in that program and not have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get the program installed. Maybe it is just me and a lack of patience.....anyway, great games.
I think my favorite solitare game is Solitude For Windows, it can be found at www.pcworld.com.

I've not played either of the two that you mentioned; but, I have found Pretty Good Solitaire (http://www.goodsol.com) to be an excellent source of many different games (old standbys as well as a number of original games developed by the author, Thomas Warfield). If you haven't looked at this software yet, you might, and compare it to Hardwood. Warfield has also developed a MahJongg game.

Hi Chris,

I’ve been playing various solitaire games on the computer for ten years.
