Wow, I loved the idea of Pysol but when I tried to install it with the Python addition, it went beyond my ability and I had to give up. The good news was I remember having the older version of this great game and sure enough I found it and it installed very easily. I don't know about you but when I download a program I really like for everything I need to be in that program and not have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get the program installed. Maybe it is just me and a lack of patience.....anyway, great games.
I think my favorite solitare game is Solitude For Windows, it can be found at www.pcworld.com.

Have you looked at Pretty Good Solitaire?
http://www.goodsol.com
I've been using it for years, and it keeps getting broader.

"people refuse to play solitaire on the computer"?

Both my wife and my father are hooked on Windows' pedestrian solitaire game. And it seems to me that this is quite common. For most users, solitaire doesn't have to be flashy to be addictive.

Hi Chris,

I've been playing various solitaire games on the computer for ten years. I've not played either of the two that you mentioned; but, I have found Pretty Good Solitaire (http://www.goodsol.com) to be an excellent source of many different games (old standbys as well as a number of original games developed by the author, Thomas Warfield). If you haven't looked at this software yet, you might, and compare it to Hardwood. Warfield has also developed a MahJongg game.
