Now, the Unix source code has been scrutinized, critisized and perfected over the years by many, many developers, whereas Windows code is only available to a handful of dev’s, most who write quick hacks in order to hold certain elements of the application together. However I think linux has grown alot more than BSD. The linux community needs to expand desktop development if not, bsd may be a better way to go.
